The CIMA Practitioner

CIMA Members in Practice are Chartered Management Accountants in professional practice. They provide the accounting, consulting and other services that businesses need.

Admission to CIMA membership is by examination and by approved practical experience. There are two membership grades - Associate and Fellow - designated by the letters "ACMA" and "FCMA" respectively. The appearance of these designated letters after the names of Members in Practice denotes the highest standards of professional competence.

Competence once attained has to be maintained. To ensure that throughout their careers Members in Practice are able to provide the services that businesses need, CIMA has in place:
